- you want an FDA-approved product: Wegovy (semaglutide) is labelled to reduce excess body weight and maintain weight reduction long term in adults with obesity, or with overweight plus a weight-related condition[11]
- you want kidney-outcomes data in type 2 diabetes: The risk of the primary kidney composite was 24% lower with semaglutide (331 vs 410 first events; hazard ratio 0.76).[14]
