How long it acts

No published half-life found for SLU-PP-332 (PubMed search, 11 Oct 2026)

Full detail, including drug-testing windows, is on the SLU-PP-332 half-life page.

The receptor it targets

The first report describes SLU-PP-332 as an ERR pan agonist that targets all three receptors, with highest potency for ERR alpha.[4]

In mice the endurance effect required ERR alpha activation.[4]

In the heart-failure model the main mediator was ERR gamma, so the receptor subtype that matters depends on the tissue.[5]

Downstream pathways in mice and cells

In aged mice, the kidney effects ran through the cGAS-STING and STAT3 signalling pathways.[6]

In cultured human muscle cells from inactive women, the compound raised SIRT1, PGC-1α and ERRα and lowered NOX4.[7]

A review of the preclinical literature summarises a gene expression program like acute aerobic exercise that drives fatty acid oxidation.[8]

Exposure and what is unknown

The first report states that the compound has pharmacokinetic properties sufficient for use as an in vivo tool; no oral bioavailability value is cached.[4]

In human liver S9 fractions the compound yielded 22 metabolites in the lab, which is not data from a dosed person.[9]

Common questions

How long does SLU-PP-332 act in the body?

We found no published half-life for SLU-PP-332 (PubMed search, 11 Oct 2026), so how long it acts is unknown.

Is SLU-PP-332 an ERR agonist?

Yes: it is reported as a synthetic agonist of all three estrogen-related receptors.[4]

Does SLU-PP-332 work?

It works in mouse models; the review calls for human trials.[8]
