What studies measured

Each outcome below comes from a published study, with its type and size, strongest design first. Animal and cell results are labelled as such and are not human results.

SLU-PP-332 outcomes in published studies
OutcomeResultStudy typeSource
Evidence base is preclinicalThe review states clinical trials are needed to confirm efficacy and safety in humans.Systematic reviewRevista medica de Chile 2026, PMID 42024694
Energy expenditure and fatty acid oxidationIn mice, SLU-PP-332 increased energy expenditure and fatty acid oxidation, mimicking exercise effects on whole-body metabolism.Animal · mouse (not a human result)The Journal of pharmacology and experimental therapeutics 2024, PMID 37739806
Fat mass and insulin sensitivityThe ERR agonist reduced obesity and improved insulin sensitivity in mouse models of metabolic syndrome.Animal · mouse (not a human result)The Journal of pharmacology and experimental therapeutics 2024, PMID 37739806
Heart failure modelSLU-PP-332 and SLU-PP-915 improved ejection fraction, reduced fibrosis and increased survival in a mouse heart failure model.Animal · mouse (plus cell experiments) (not a human result)Circulation 2024, PMID 37961903
Exercise enduranceIn mice, SLU-PP-332 increased type IIa oxidative skeletal muscle fibers and enhanced exercise endurance.Animal · mouse (plus a skeletal muscle cell line) (not a human result)ACS chemical biology 2023, PMID 36988910
Mitochondrial function in muscle cellsSLU-PP-332 increased mitochondrial function and cellular respiration in a skeletal muscle cell line.Animal · mouse (plus a skeletal muscle cell line) (not a human result)ACS chemical biology 2023, PMID 36988910
Aging kidneyAn 8-week pan-ERR agonist treatment reversed age-related albuminuria, podocyte loss, mitochondrial dysfunction and inflammatory cytokines in aged mice.Animal · mouse (not a human result)The American journal of pathology 2023, PMID 37717940
In vitro metabolites22 in vitro metabolites were identified; eight (M1, M7, M9, M10, M13, M14, M19, M20) were the most abundant.In vitro (not a human result)Drug testing and analysis 2026, PMID 41688415
Myoblast markers and differentiationIn myoblasts from inactive women, SLU-PP-332 down-regulated NOX4 and up-regulated SIRT1, PGC-1α, ERRα, FNDC5, Akt and Bcl-2, reducing oxidative stress and senescence markers. In vitro (not a human result)n = 20Frontiers in physiology 2025, PMID 40692696
  • No human studies of SLU-PP-332 have been published in PubMed as of 2 October 2026 (10 records, all preclinical, review or analytical chemistry). Everything on this page is mouse or cell data and cannot be read as expected human effects.
  • A small Frontiers in Physiology paper (PMID 40692696) used muscle biopsies from 20 women, but SLU-PP-332 was applied only to cultured muscle cells in vitro; the 20 refers to biopsy donors.
  • SLU-PP-332 is a small-molecule ERR agonist (not a peptide). It is not FDA-approved, and in the sports context it is covered by WADA's ban on exercise mimetics and metabolic modulators (stated in PMID 41688415).
  • No half-life value was found: the sources say only that the compound has 'sufficient pharmacokinetic properties' for in vivo use, and an oral analogue SLU-PP-915 is described because SLU-PP-332 'lacks oral bioavailability' (PMID 41421047).
  • No stability data were found.
  • Only preclinical data exist for metabolism, weight loss, energy, heart health, longevity and mitochondria. There are no human data for any goal.

Typical timeline

When measurable changes appeared in studies of SLU-PP-332: not reported in study abstracts (PubMed search, 2 Oct 2026).

Before-and-after photos

We don't publish before-and-after photos. They can't be verified, rarely show dose, diet or other drugs, and only the most dramatic results get posted.

Common questions

How long does SLU-PP-332 take to work?

The study abstracts we summarised for SLU-PP-332 do not report when outcomes were measured (PubMed search, 2 Oct 2026).

Do you show SLU-PP-332 before and after photos?

No. Photos can't be verified, rarely show dose, diet or other drugs, and only the most dramatic ones get posted. We summarize measured outcomes instead.
