Evidence for skin
Each row is an outcome related to skin from a published study, strongest design first. Animal and cell results are labelled and are not human results. User reports are not counted as evidence here. No study has tested KLOW itself; rows are for each ingredient.

| GHK-Cu: Patient-reported skin quality | Patients using GHK-Cu skin care products reported significantly greater improvement in overall skin quality (P = .04), but blinded and objective evaluation found no group difference in wrinkles or skin quality. | Human RCTn = 13 | Archives of facial plastic surgery 2006, PMID 16847171 |
| GHK-Cu: Plantar ulcer closure | Median ulcer area closure was 98.5% with the GHK-copper gel versus 60.8% with vehicle (p < 0.05). | Human RCT | Wound repair and regeneration 1994, PMID 17147644 |
| GHK-Cu: Ulcer infection | Ulcer infections occurred in 7% with the gel versus 34% with vehicle among ulcers treated immediately after debridement (p < 0.05). | Human RCT | Wound repair and regeneration 1994, PMID 17147644 |
| GHK-Cu: Crow's feet wrinkles | In one patient, photographs showed greatly decreased wrinkles around the treated eye after a multi-ingredient cosmetic treatment. | Human case reportn = 1 | Journal of cosmetic and laser therapy 2016, PMID 27064823 |
| GHK-Cu: State of the human evidence | The review states the human literature is thin and fragmented; most randomized trials are small facial cosmetic cream studies. | Systematic review | Archives of internal medicine research 2026, PMID 42787770 |

How strong is it?
A human randomized trial outweighs any number of animal studies. Animal and cell results show a mechanism worth testing, not that it works in people.
Skin aging products, and what is approved
MedlinePlus says the FDA has approved only a few products for sun-damaged or aging skin.[17]
Skin outcomes reported for the GHK-Cu component
In a small randomized laser-resurfacing trial, GHK-Cu skin care did not change objective skin measures, but patients were more satisfied.[3]
A single patient treated with a copper-GHK cosmetic mix had higher procollagen and fibrillin in biopsies, which cannot be attributed to GHK-Cu alone.[5]
A review states that GHK is widely promoted for topical use but skin permeability data are lacking.[7]
A systematic review says human GHK-Cu trials are mostly small cosmetic-cream studies.[6]
In rat ischemic wounds, topical GHK-copper gel left wounds smaller than in vehicle or untreated groups on day 13.[11]
In lab-grown skin cells, copper tripeptide lowered TGF-beta1 secretion, which authors tie to scarring.[16]
A search for all four components together found 0 PubMed records on 2 Oct 2026, so the blend has no skin study.
Calculated from search GHK-Cu terms AND BPC-157 terms AND (TB-500 OR thymosin beta-4 terms) AND KPV terms; date 2026-10-02; count 0; page topic skin; source our combinations data ghk-cu__klow. Formula: records matching all four components = count = 0

Does KLOW help with skin?
The strongest study we summarise for skin is human rct evidence, for an ingredient rather than the blend, across 16 studies with an outcome for skin. A trial result is not an approval; see the legal status.
Is KLOW approved for skin?
No. KLOW is not FDA approved for any use, including skin.
What is the best peptide for skin?
There is no single answer. Our skin overview compares each candidate by evidence grade and legal status rather than by popularity.
Is KLOW good for eczema or loose skin?
No cached study tests the blend on eczema or loose skin; the closest controlled human trial of a component, in laser-resurfaced skin, found no objective difference in redness.[3]
