Evidence for inflammation
Each row is an outcome related to inflammation from a published study, strongest design first. Animal and cell results are labelled and are not human results. User reports are not counted as evidence here. No study has tested GLOW itself; rows are for each ingredient.
| Outcome | Result | Study type | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| TB-500: Scalp seborrheic dermatitis | The thymosin beta-4 gel was reported more effective than ketoconazole lotion for scalp seborrheic dermatitis (randomization not stated in abstract). | Human controlled trialn = 71 | Microbial biotechnology 2021, PMID 34318587 |
| GHK-Cu: Colitis severity and mucosal repair | GHK-Cu reduced weight loss, disease activity and colonic inflammatory damage and promoted mucosal repair in DSS colitis mice. | Animal · mouse (plus mouse cell co-culture) (not a human result) | Frontiers in pharmacology 2025, PMID 40672369 |
| TB-500: Corneal alkali burn | The peptide-containing hydrogel accelerated corneal epithelial regeneration and reduced inflammation in an alkali burn model; this is a formulation study. | Animal · human corneal cells in vitro plus an animal alkali burn model (species not stated in abstract) (not a human result) | ACS applied materials & interfaces 2025, PMID 41359360 |
| GHK-Cu: Lung inflammation and fibrosis | GHK-Cu reduced lung inflammation and fibrosis in silicosis mice without significant systemic toxicity. | Animal · mouse (plus macrophage cell line) (not a human result) | Redox biology 2024, PMID 38879894 |
| GHK-Cu: Lung inflammation | GHK-Cu reduced lung histological changes and inflammatory cell infiltration in mice with acute lung injury. | Animal · mouse (plus macrophage cell line) (not a human result) | Oncotarget 2016, PMID 27517151 |
| BPC-157: Colitis and anastomosis healing | Control rats did not heal; BPC 157 induced healing of both cysteamine colitis and colon-colon anastomosis. | Animal · rat (not a human result) | Journal of physiology and pharmacology 2013, PMID 24304574 |
| BPC-157: Periodontal inflammation | BPC 157 treatment significantly reduced plasma extravasation, histological inflammation and alveolar bone resorption in ligature periodontitis. | Animal · rat (not a human result) | Journal of physiology and pharmacology 2009, PMID 20388954 |

How strong is it?
A human randomized trial outweighs any number of animal studies. Animal and cell results show a mechanism worth testing, not that it works in people.
What inflammation is and how it is measured
MedlinePlus says the liver makes C-reactive protein in response to inflammation.[8]
Inflammation findings, by component
In mice and in macrophage cell cultures, GHK-Cu lowered TNF-α and IL-6 production in a lipopolysaccharide-induced lung injury model (animal and cell study).[5]
In silicosis mice, GHK-Cu bound the PRDX6 protein and attenuated lung inflammation and fibrosis without significant systemic toxicity (animal study).[4]
In rats with ligature-induced periodontitis, chronic BPC-157 reduced plasma extravasation, histological changes and bone loss (animal study).[7]
A TB500-sequence hydrogel was reported to reduce inflammation in an alkali burn model of the cornea (lab and animal study).[3]
The one human inflammation result used recombinant human thymosin beta-4 on the scalp: in seborrheic dermatitis it outperformed ketoconazole, and the abstract does not describe TB-500.[1]
What the evidence cannot say
None of the 7 cached studies behind this page tested the three-part blend itself; they tested single components in mice, rats, cell lines and a scalp trial; none measured CRP after GLOW.
Calculated from cached studies 27517151, 40672369, 38879894, 24304574, 20388954, 41359360, 34318587; studies of all three components together 0. Formula: count of cached studies testing GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 together = 0

Does GLOW help with inflammation?
The strongest study we summarise for inflammation is human rct evidence, for an ingredient rather than the blend, across 7 studies with an outcome for inflammation. A trial result is not an approval; see the legal status.
Is GLOW approved for inflammation?
No. GLOW is not FDA approved for any use, including inflammation.
What is the best peptide for inflammation?
There is no single answer. Our inflammation overview compares each candidate by evidence grade and legal status rather than by popularity.
Does GLOW peptide reduce inflammation?
Not shown for the blend: 6 of the 7 cached inflammation findings are animal or cell data on single components, and the 1 human result used a different thymosin beta-4 product.
Calculated from animal outcomes 6; human outcomes 1; blend studies 0. Formula: cached outcomes = 7; blend studies = 0
