GLP-1 / GIP / glucagon triple agonistUpdated

Short answer

Yes. In the obesity dose-finding trial heart rate rose with dose, peaked at 24 weeks and then declined.[1]

A meta-analysis of randomised trials in people without diabetes found retatrutide raised heart rate by a mean difference of 3.46 against placebo (95% CI 1.74 to 5.18).[2]

What else the papers report

A commentary on the early diabetes trial reported a rise of up to 6.7 beats per minute and said it may be detrimental.[3]

A review also noted mild to moderate cardiac arrhythmias and said long-term cardiovascular outcome trials will be critical.[4]
