In rat liver cells grown in a dish, the tripeptide Gly-His-Lys, which is GHK without copper, moderately raised several plasma proteins at low concentration; it is a cell-culture result.[11]

In an animal study, repeated injections of Gly-His-Lys stimulated liver-cell division and suppressed immune reactivity in a dose-dependent way.[12]
