How much water to add
Bacteriostatic water only changes the concentration, not the amount of BPC-157 in the vial. More water means more units per dose (easier to read), less water means fewer.
| Water added | Concentration | 10 units contain | 100 mcg is | Whole vial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL | 20 mg/mL | 2000 mcg | 0.5 u | 100 u |
| 2 mL | 10 mg/mL | 1000 mcg | 1 u | 200 u |
| 2.5 mL | 8 mg/mL | 800 mcg | 1.3 u | 250 u |
| 3 mL | 6.667 mg/mL | 666.7 mcg | 1.5 u | 300 u |

3 units (0.03 mL) on a 1 mL U-100 syringe: 300 mcg from a 20 mg vial + 2 mL water (BPC-157).
Dosing table for a 20 mg vial

| 300 mcg | 1.5 | 3 | 3.75 | 4.5 |
| 400 mcg | 2 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
| 500 mcg | 2.5 | 5 | 6.25 | 7.5 |
| 750 mcg | 3.75 | 7.5 | 9.38 | 11.25 |
| 1000 mcg | 5 | 10 | 12.5 | 15 |
How the math works
Concentration is the vial's milligrams divided by the water you add. Volume to draw is your dose divided by that concentration. On a U-100 syringe, 1 mL is 100 units, so units = mL × 100.
300 mcg = 0.3 mg; 0.3 mg ÷ 10 mg/mL = 0.03 mL
0.03 mL × 100 = 3 units
Common questions
How much water goes in a 20 mg vial of BPC-157?
That choice only changes the concentration. With 2 mL, a 20 mg vial is 10 mg/mL; with 1 mL it is 20 mg/mL. Less water means fewer units per dose and harder-to-read marks for small doses.
How many units is 100 mcg from a 20 mg vial?
With 2 mL of water, 100 mcg is 1 units on a U-100 syringe. With other water amounts, see the table.
How many doses are in a 20 mg vial?
Divide the vial size by the dose (in the same unit). The calculator on this page shows the number of whole doses for any dose you pick.
